Petitions
Does your University have any guidelines for dealing with petitions submitted for tabling at Council, including where the petition is in relation to matters that are ordinarily University management related?
There is some urgency to this - Can you please add your comments here and email Richard Long direct as well richard.long1@monash.edu ?

Hi Richard,
We also haven't encountered this in my time. I think we had one about fossil fuels a few years ago but that was submitted to management. Should a petition specifically identify Council like others the Chancellor would need to approve tabling it at Council.
