Aegrotat and Posthumous Awards

Hi all! The University of Divinity is currently in the process of developing an Aegrotat and Posthumous Awards Policy, and I am looking to better define the circumstances in which an aegrotat award might be granted. I’ve benchmarked policies across the sector, and the phrase that keeps appearing is ‘permanent incapacitation’, but as far as I can see none of the policies actually define what this might look like, what supporting evidence would be required, etc.

I’m wondering if anyone has any insight as to how the term is interpreted and applied within their institution?

Council Communication with Staff

Hi All - I have been asked to do some benchmarking on post Council communications to staff. We currently publish non-confidential minutes, however, they are pretty uninformative once I redact the confidential information. Are there any other options people have found useful? eg all staff emails, updates etc.

Thanks

Mark

GDPR compliance

CDU is seeking external support to examine its GDPR compliance. Has anyone got experience in this space. I.e. accessing effective, efficient advisory support? Much appreciated.

TWEEK Update from HES

Hi all,

Please see below an email sent out this morning by Andrew Trnacek from HES that he asked to be circulated to this group.

Tony

Dear Colleagues,

As you are aware, TWEEK has entered liquidation. Importantly, the company remains solvent and continues to operate and service its clients as normal. HES is closely monitoring developments to ensure any risks associated with ongoing service delivery are well managed.
