Committee Terms of Reference - Reg compliance
Hi all,
We are doing a light touch refresh of all our Committee ToRs and it has been suggested that we should add a section to all the ToR on Education Regulartory Compliance.
We currently include a general reference to legal and regulartory compliance as part of our Audit and Risk Committtee, but the suggestion is to specifically list out individual standards.
Does anyone else specifically reference the regulatory standards that each Committee of Council has overight of in their ToR? i.e Audit and Risk has oversight of HESF 6.1.3 (b), (c), 6.2.1 (a), (c) etc

Dear Nicole,
At Victoria University, we reference HESF and/or RTO where relevant within our Academic Governance Committees' ToRs (including the specific Standard) but not within our Corporate Governance Committees' ToR documents.
However, each individual report within our Corporate and Academic Governance work plans are aligned and mapped, where relevant, to specific standards from HESF, RTO, UCC Code of Best Practice, ESOS, and/or Standing Directions FMA (in addition to ToR). There is a section in our report template where proponents must include this information to demonstrate alignment in their reports.
