VC Office involvement in Council?
Good afternoon all,
Wondering how much involvement your VC and particularly VC's office has with Council operations and interactions. Traditionally, we've kept everything within the role of the University Secretary, with occasional comms from the VC direct to Council but everything else going through the Uni Sec.

Hi Kylie, and sorry coming late to this discussion. VC is a member of Council so able to communicate with members like any other member of Council. Having said that, VC does not normally communicate directly with Council more broadly, we do that via the Governance Office. Papers for Committee and for Council agendas do come to us for distribution after VC approval.
