Comparison of Committee Size and Composition - results
We are doing a quick review of our Council Committee structure and the question has been raised as to the appropriate size of subcommittees. AAUS members were asked to advise on the number of members (with voting rights) on subcommittees and if this includes any external experts (non council/staff members). Responses have been collated in the excel spreadsheet. Where no response was received, information was sourced from university websites/Terms of Reference.
Links to Terms of Reference are provided and universities last column references if external auditors attend their audit/finance meetings.
Note: It was challenging to group committees into comparable genres, please keep the subjective nature of this in mind when viewing the results.
