Academic Board/Senate - Gender Diversity

Hi all, looking for input on what (if any) process/policy your university has in place with regard to gender diversity relating to elected and appointed positions on Academic Board/Senate. For example, does your Board/Senate terms of reference require that there should be no one gender identity with a majority of more than x percentage? Or something else? Or no mention at all? I'd appreciate any input you may have.

Hi Julie,

At Charles Sturt our Rule is silent on the issue. I don't think it has been identified as an issue in the past, and I note that our current Academic Senate of 32 members has 17F/15M split. I do like some of the clauses referred to by others in response though.
