Payment to student members of Council
Dear all
My Council has asked me to benchmark what other universities pay their student members on Council as they are concerned we do not pay them enough.
University of Canberra Council has 2 elected student members (1 post graduate and 1 undergraduate) who are paid $8kpa, in addition to the approx $8k pa that the SRC pays them.
If anyone can share please what they pay their student members, I'd be very grateful.

Hi, we remunerate external members around $27k pa plus if they are a committee chair they get another $5k on top. Chancellor & deputy chancellor get more. Staff members aren't remunerated as already paid. Thanks!
